The X-box 360 seems to disappear even before it hits the shelf in virtually any store you visit trying to score one of these gaming beauties. In fact, on launch day even those whom had pre ordered the system was left sadly disappointed to know they would have to continue waiting. So what’s so great about the X-box 360 that everyone feels the need to have one right now?
 Well, the fact that it is brand new and revolutionary is probably one of the biggest reasons. Gamers like to stay on top of things and owning the biggest, the newest, and the best is the way to stay that way. X-box 360 promises smashing new hits to be added to their game list, games that can only be played on the 360. The X-box 360 consoles also offers an expectance to be able to play all older X-box games on the console, making it easier to part with hundreds of dollars for this new investment. And finally, the hype surrounding the launch of X-box 360 was so big and loud; it was enough to get people interested that have never even played a console gaming system before.
Retail outlets are still finding it hard to stock these gaming consoles, as they are still flying off the shelves faster than they can be stocked. With this in mind, any X-box fan that anticipates buying the X-box 360 and X-box games should keep in mind that if they want to get it within the next few months, it is probably the best idea to search every store in the area at least once a week until you find one. Waiting around for shelves to fill up isn’t going to happen anytime soon. |
